How do I publish my menu to my website?

There are two common ways you can go about adding your restaurant's menu to your website. Each has its own advantages and drawbacks.

  1. Building With Our Software - The "Menu" link in the linkbar of your website leads to our menu building software. You can add multiple menus (for instance, "Lunch" and "Dinner"), each with multiple categories ("Appetizers", "Entrees", etc). Within each category, you can add items, including photos.
    • Pros: Friendly to search engines, optimized web presentation.
    • Cons: Takes awhile to type in, will not look like your paper menu.
  2. Uploading Document of Your Paper Menu - Using the "File Manager" item of your site's "Content" menu, you can upload computer files of your paper menus. Recommend formats include HTML if available, pure graphic images (.GIF or .JPG), and PDF files. Not recommend are proprietary formats such as Microsoft Word.
    • Pros: Easy if you have your menu in digital format.
    • Cons: Harder for search engines to read, non-HTML menus will not match your site's look & feel.
